Today's Passage: 1 John 1
Dig Deeper:
A DIFFERENT VOICE: We've spent several weeks in a row now reading Paul's various letters. Now that we've switched to letters written by John, can you tell a difference? We read in 2 Timothy 3 that all scripture is God-breathed. Even though there are big style differences between John and Paul, you can be sure it is the same Word of God that was breathing through both of them. Be grateful that God breathed through so many different voices to bring you His Word.
MEMORY VERSE:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (v9).
Follow the AAA Prayer Pattern:
ACKNOWLEDGE WHO GOD IS: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all (v5)
ALIGN YOUR LIFE WITH GOD'S WILL: Ask God to help you walk in the light, as He is in the light (v7)
